Dr. Michele Simpson
Dr. Simpson is from York, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate program at Towson University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001 from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Simpson spent two years in a hospital based residency program gaining extensive knowledge and experience in all phases of dentistry. Upon completion of her residency program, she remained working in the hospital for and additional two years as an Attending Dentist. As an Attending, Dr. Simpson had the great privilege of training and lecturing to new graduates as well as treating the dental needs of medically compromised in-patients, trauma in the ER, and outpatients in the hospital dental clinic. Dr. Simpson moved to North Carolina in 2004, where she was owner and practitioner of a private dental practice. Dr. Simpson has spent the last 10 years offering exceptional dental services to the Roanoke Rapids community and has dedicated over 600 hours in the past five years to learning advanced dentistry at the World Renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies where she was awarded her Fellowship in Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to her continuing education in Las Vegas, Dr. Simpson has spent the last two years learning advanced techniques in orthodontics at the Center for Occlusal Studies with the internationally known practitioner and lecturer, Dr. Jay Gerber. Dr. Simpson has recently relocated to Wilmington with her husband and four children. She and her family enjoy numerous activities.Her children are active in school sports: soccer, basketball, swimming, and school band. They are also involved in the North Carolina Youth Symphony, with her daughter playing the bassoon and Dr. Simpson regularly competes along the East Coast with her American Saddlebred show horses. Dr. Simpson is a member of The American Dental Association, The American Orthodontic Association, The North Carolina Dental Society, The International Association of Physiologic Aesthtics.
